I am sick. In such a way that makes me feel as though I'm doomed to a lonely, runny-nosed eternity filled with sniffles and loneliness. But I am bored and inclined to be creative if only to stave off the dread I have for class tomorrow.

Someone at church said that his mom and brother challenged him to write a haiku per day. I believe this to be a rather smashing idea and will attempt to do the same for you, my lovely (if limited) readers. Here is a haiku inspired by my freakish flu-like disease that I am currently battling.

Sick
A runny nose and
A throat that's been set on fire
Lonely misery.

And because that poem sounded so dang miserable, have a happy one!

Mailbox
Today a package
And a letter at my door!
Home is far, but near <3

Missing home! Sometimes it's tough being away. But it makes it that much more fun to visit. AND WHO DOESN'T LOVE GETTING MAIL????
